The Asian Youth Center of New York was established in 1988 as a nonprofit organization under The Council of Korean Churches of Greater New York with the support and services of the Korean American businesses and government agencies.
Our mission
Today’s youth are dealing with unprecedented amount of uncertainty and disorder. Despite material abundance, there is a crisis with regards to their mental health. They are forced to deal with issues of addiction, bullying, navigating their identity as immigrants, and meeting academic demands.
It is the responsibility of the Church and our society to embrace and guide the youth towards the right path.
The youth of today hold the key to a better tomorrow.
Our vision
The Asian Youth Center of New York seeks to train, develop, and empower local youth to become the salt and light to the world as builders of the Kingdom.
